Curare Studio was founded by creative health curator Pamela Abela, whose work has evolved through the intersections of healthcare, contemporary art, research and cultural practice. Drawing on this interdisciplinary background, the studio explores how creativity can deepen our relationship with ourselves, with others and with the environments we inhabit.
Rather than applying fixed models, Curare Studio designs creative health programmes, therapeutic environments and collaborative projects that emerge from the people, places and questions unique to each context. Every project begins with careful observation, dialogue and artistic inquiry, recognising that meaningful participation cannot be separated from the conditions in which it unfolds.
