A Methodology of Becoming

My work is grounded in the belief that creativity can help us navigate periods of change, uncertainty and transition.

Rather than focusing on artistic outcomes, the process creates conditions for reflection, connection and discovery.

Participants are invited to move beyond habitual ways of thinking and relating, opening space for new perspectives, possibilities and forms of expression.

The process often unfolds through six interconnected stages. Each stage supports a movement from awareness towards action, helping individuals and groups reconnect with what brings meaning, vitality and direction to their lives.

Why join?

Like the moth, drawn not by certainty but by light, we navigate periods of confusion, loss and change. Many of us move through life shaped by expectations, responsibilities and routines that gradually distance us from our own creative impulse.

What remains when the stories that constrain us begin to fall away?

These creative workshops create space to pause, reflect and reconnect with the part of ourselves that is often hidden beneath the noise and routine of everyday life. By listening inwardly one can rediscover a creative impulse often lost beneath the daily grind.

We create a space of encounter where each person feels safe enough to allow the inner authentic voice to speak, safe enough to express, connect, belong and enjoy.

What happens when genuine encounter occurs?

Laughter enters the space

A creative program designed for workplaces, healthcare teams, organisations, cultural institutions and community groups seeking more meaningful forms of connection and collective wellbeing.

Moving beyond conventional team-building models, the workshops invite participants into shared creative experiences rooted in curiosity, collaboration and embodied engagement.

Through drawing, movement, sound, storytelling, texture and material, participants explore new ways of communicating, reflecting and working together.

Each workshop is facilitated by multidisciplinary practitioners bringing together different artistic approaches and perspectives. Workshops are adapted to the needs of the team.

Example Workshop Flow

While each programme is tailored to the group, context and participants involved, workshops generally unfold through a gentle six-part structure designed to support creativity, reflection and meaningful connection.

1. Arrival & Grounding

Participants are welcomed into the space through a calm arrival process. This helps create a sense of safety, presence and transition into the workshop experience.

2. Introduction to Theme

A central theme, material or question is introduced through storytelling, image, movement, poetry, objects from nature or guided conversation. Themes may explore identity, transition, memory, belonging, connection or creative instinct.

3. Creative Exploration

Participants engage in hands-on artistic processes using drawing, collage, writing, movement, sound, textiles, natural materials or collaborative making. The focus remains on process, curiosity and expression rather than artistic skill or outcome.

4. Shared Process & Collaboration

The workshop gradually opens into collective interaction through pair work, group installations, storytelling circles, movement exercises or collaborative artwork creation. This stage encourages connection, listening and shared experience.

5. Reflection Circles

Participants are invited into gentle reflection through journaling, discussion, sound, silence or guided prompts. Space is held for personal insight, emotional processing and shared conversation without pressure.

6. Closing Ritual & Integration

The session closes through a simple collective gesture such as sound, movement, shared words or artwork viewing. Participants leave with space to integrate the experience and reconnect gradually with everyday rhythm.

Across all programmes, the workshops prioritise:
presence over performance,
process over perfection,
and connection over productivity
